Pre-Workout Supplements Etc.

(Left to Right) Super Pump 250 by Gaspari Nutrition $65, Only One Multi Vitamin by Irwin Naturals 60 count $25, Whey Protein Shake by Gold Standard 2 LBS $48, Platinum Pump Fuel by NDS $68
Some of you have asked about supplements, vitamins, and protein shakes that I take so I wanted to share with you my favorites.
Since I am doing weight lifting, pre-workout supplements for energy and strength have helped me out tremendously. I have worked out without them and I move like a snail and can't lift as heavy of weights..it's awful!
I go back and forth between 2 kinds: Platinum Pump Fuel and Super Pump 250 both are from GNC. (Side note;they are having a sale $39.99 instead of $70) Normally, I add a half of scoop to a half filled water bottle and down it 20 minutes before my workout. The label suggests to add 1 scoop of powder but it makes me too jittery and hyper.
As for a multi vitamin I really love Only One Liquid-Gel Multi because aside from having the essential vitamins and minerals of a multi, it also has Omega-3 Oils and Antioxidants Green Super Foods. That way you don't have to take fish oil vitamins too.
Now for a protein shake my favorite one is Whey by Gold Standard. It doesn't make me feel bloated or gassy which so many of them do. But it still has 24 grams of protein which is awesome.

I'll Give Away Another Secret but It's Bitter Sweet

I want to tell you all about my secret weapon for almost anything! Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar (With the Mother) is what you should buy if you haven't already. It's pretty inexpensive... about $5 a bottle. It lasts me about a month..
Anyway, let's talk about all of the great benefits!!!!!
"Why do you like it so much, it tastes bad?" I have been asked by a few people. Well, honey the slightly bitterish-sour (yes I made that word up) taste isn't that bad, so stop acting like a baby and just take a shot. 30 Minutes later you will be thanking me when you go and take a nice #2.
But for real this time...back to the good stuff.
Benefits you ask!

BEAUTY:
Hair: It is widely known that apple cider vinegar can be used as a rinse for your hair after shampooing to add healthy body and shine. Recycle an old shampoo bottle and fill it with 1/2 a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a cup of cold water. Pour through your hair after shampooing several times a week.
Face: Did you know that apple cider vinegar can help regulate the pH of your skin? Dilute apple cider vinegar with two parts water, and spread the concoction over your face with a cotton ball as a toner. Or You can mix into a little water bottle and spray on your face to tone and refresh your skin throughout the day. You can do this at night after washing, and in the morning before you apply your moisturizer. You can also dab apple cider vinegar directly onto age spots and leave them on overnight to lighten their color.
Hands and Feet: Are your hands and feet feeling tired and swollen after a long day? Treat yourself to a personal spa massage by soaking them in a bath tub with Apple Cider Vinegar.
Sunburn: Suffering from a bad sunburn? Add a cup of apple cider vinegar to your bath and soak for 10 minutes.
Teeth: Did you know that apple cider vinegar can help remove stains from teeth? Rub teeth directly with apple cider vinegar and rinse out.
Aftershave: Fill a bottle with equal parts apple cider vinegar and water and shake to blend.
HEALTH:
Weight-Loss: For daily weight and pH balance maintenance, add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to 16 oz of water. Sip this concoction throughout the day.
Detox: Add 2 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to  1 water bottle. Drink this throughout the day to cleanse your body and kidneys all day long.
HOME AND PETS
Cleaning: Mix 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1 cup water. You can use this concoction to clean microwaves, bathroom tiles, kitchen surfaces, windows, glasses and mirrors. This mixture also works as a disinfectant.
Flea Reduction on pets: Rub apple cider vinegar onto your pet’s skin. Add a little bit of apple cider vinegar to their water. Spray apple cider vinegar, diluted 50 percent with water, onto your pets and onto your furniture to repel the presence of fleas.

LET'S TONE UP AND NOT STARVE IN THE PROCESS

I wanted to share with you a days worth of my meals. Obviously I'm not a fitness expert or a vegan BUT I have found this meal plan to help me. This "diet" will be great for you if you are always rushing around and don't want to spend hours in the kitchen.

At first this felt like I was constantly eating so maybe I would get a pot belly... but it has actually has kicked my metabolism up and has helped me to get more toned. I'd love for you to try it and tell me what you think.

The Sarita Diet*

8:00 AM / Right when you wake up drink this:

Shot glass full of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
(chase with water)
*Make sure it's raw and unfiltered, otherwise it won't work!

8:05AM BREAKFAST:

The Oatmeal Recipe:
1/2 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup water
(Microwave for 2 Min)
Then add:
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed

1 sliced banana

Drizzle of agave nectar or honey

11:00 AM SNACK:

Think Thin Bar (Sprouts, Whole Foods) I usually grab one and stick it in my bag so when I'm not home I can snack on something. It has 10 grams of protein and low sugar. I literally sat down in the aisle at the grocery store comparing nutritional facts and this one is by far the best protein bar for you that doesn't taste like weird chemicals.

1:00PM LUNCH:
Chicken Breast (Grab a large Ziplock bag and put several pieces of chicken inside, so that way it will last you a couple days worth. Pour olive oil;about 1 teaspoon per piece of chicken. Add lemon pepper, rosemary, garlic; if you have it and a few squeezes of lemon. Now, let it sit in your refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Then, heat up a pan on Medium heat and cook for about 5 min on each side)
Spinach Salad with 2 Hard Boiled Eggs
TON

If you want dessert Sliced Apple with Cinnamon

4:00 PM SNACK:
Greek Yogurt with Granola and Blackberries

7PM DINNER:

Half of a Sliced avocado with Baby Greens

Side of  steamed Asparagus (dash of sea salt, pepper, and olive oil)

and a piece of dark chocolate for my sweet tooth

Review: Laura Mercier Body Bronzing Makeup

Laura Mercier Body Bronzing Makeup
Price: $38
Size: 5 oz

When I'm pale I slap this stuff on and it transforms my skin tone. It has a golden tint..not orange..not brown. There's a very fine shimmer and a coverage similar to a tinted moisturizer so it helps cover flaws. I fell in love with this stuff recently at a shoot because it makes my skin bronzed and glowy. The smell is just as amazing- it smells like coconut and pineapple. I love that this lotion is so versatile. It's great for going out on the town when you are wearing a sexy dress and also great if you just want some light color during the day.

You can layer it if you want even more coverage or glow. It easily washes off, although you definitly want to be careful when wearing white or anything light. But that is a must with any type of product with bronzer in it. I tried it on my face hoping to look like J LO and I looked more like Abraham Lincoln on a penny... best for body only.. in my opinion. Enjoy!!

Review: Victoria's Secret Bronze Glow Body Tint

VS Bronze Glow Body Tint
Price: $16
Size: 4.8 oz

This is definitely lightweight and easily blends into your skin. It gives you more of a glowy, luminous look rather than a shimmery coppery finish.  Since this lotion isn't super pigmented I wouldn't suggest using when you are pale, instead it's PERFECT when you have a base tan and want to have a radiant glow. For $16 though it's worth having and it smells yummy too.

Review: Anne Marie Borlind Rode Dew Night Cream Review

Anne Marie Borlind Rose Dew Night Cream
Price: $40
Size: 1.69 oz
I'm excited to tell you that I found an "affordable" moisturizer that's worth sharing with you.  Affordable meaning $40 for a 1.69 oz jar. I did some research on the ingredients and this heavenly scented rose moisturizer is paraben free which is a major plus. Also it contains Squalane which is a huge component of our skin's own natural oil. It hydrates, smooths and softens, locks in moisture and has immune-stimulating and antioxidant capabilities. The best thing is, your body basically can't tell the difference between this stuff and it's own oil- so even sensitive and irritated skin soaks it up without a blink.

I wanted to use this product for a few weeks to see if there were any breakouts or weird skin issues and I can't complain of a single pimple. My skin is really dry so I would highly recommend this if you have a similar skin type and are looking for a protective, natural moisture.
